Father: Yes u did (with a half glance).
Now having a conversation with the teacher.
“Which student got the best result.”
Teacher: There r two girls who performed best.
Father: what’s their name
The teacher told both the names.

Class 1st: Everyone was doing something or the other…
Teacher: (Calling out the name) Who is this boy?
Boy: Yes mam
Teacher: I heard today during recess u hit this another boy (who was also standing) with basketball…
Boy remembering the incident… Everyone was chasing the basketball which was being used as a football to play .. Out of nowhere ball came towards the boy… Like a dog chasing a car who has just caught the car but don’t know what to do with it… He kicked it hard .. Ball flew towards that another boy who wasn’t playing and just watching from the side .. Hit him he fell over…
Coming back to class
Boy: Mam I didn’t hit him intentionally
Another boy: Mam he is lying.
Boy shocked of the accusation watching silently…
Teacher: Behave urself you are a slacker who just sleeps in the class .. (The other boy was the topper that year) whole class laughing
Boy thinking this is what it is to be the topper of the batch .. Obnoxious he is .. Why wud I play this cruel joke to a person who couldn’t play games

class 1st again…
Boy and the girl with the weird name sitting together .. Boy thinking she is also good in studies I should remain silent (don’t want to get in any trouble)
Girl: what’s ur name (asked in a friendly manner)

Girl: Telling the name used mostly by her family, adding my mom use to call me by this name… But I don’t like it at all .. Telling a second name which was a bit less weird .. I like this name more

Boy with his parents and the teacher who really treated him well
U came 2nd in class concerning performance
Boy thinking .. 2nd not even 3rd ..directly 2nd
Parents were asking who performed best… The same another boy
His heart fell… Was hoping to be sm1 else there

Time unknown
The boy was chasing the girl with the weird name after school wanting to ask something .. Girl didn’t like it… She stopped looked back and snapped .. Don’t follow me my dad is in police…
Boy at home asking both his parents: Is her dad in police?
Dad and mom surprised then mom replied
Of course not her dad isn’t in police…
Boy thinking… But then why did she lie .. Liar, she is
Next few years the resentment grew into competitive feeling between the boy and girl.

Class 6th
The girl with the weird name had to miss mid-term exams of two subjects coz of some function in her family .. When the results came she performed better than the boy in the rest of exams but overall she lost .. Boy watching her as she was distressed and was hiding her face on desk and appearing to others that she was sleeping ..
But he knew the better truth .. she was crying.

Around the end month of class 6 the
Boy gets to know she was leaving the school.
